Digital Camera??
i was thinking of getting a digital camera
i don't realy use my regular one though
if i did buy one i was thinking of buying this one.....

i mostly use my camera for pic on vacations, or fun with friends
i'm also on a budget
i want something with lots of storage and thats portable
can somebody help me find a digital camera and memory card that's good for me?
don't ask me about zoom or anything because i don't really know - i guess the average one
I prefer Kodak. They have a good software for downloading your photos to the computer. But this camera you picked will work fine, also. Interesting color. Pink.
Buy a separate 256 mb chip for the camera. I always used Lexar chips. They work fine.
Walmart has the lowest chip prices. You will be able to store about 150 pics in your camera with a 256 mb chip. More than enough for a day of vacation fun.
That night, download the photos to a Walgreens Photo CD and start snapping more pics the next dayl.
Always wear the wrist strap. Avoids dropping the camera by accident. Carry 4 extra AA batteries. These cameras eat batteries. Rechargable batteries last about an hour. Alkaline last about 4 hours. Turn off the camera when not using it. Saves the batteries. Take LOTS of photos, that way you will end up with many GREAT photos. Delete bad photos all day long, more room for even more photos. Buy a cheap nylon camera case for protection against rainy days. Zoom is OK, my wife has it. But I take GREAT photos with my no-zoom camera. PS Dark indoors and nighttime, will take BEST if you have something behind what you are taking photos of. Longest distance from camera; 6 ft. Any farther away, people do not come out well. Scenery takes well, no matter how far away. Except at night. Without a background, people get whited-out and the background is black. Have a wall behind when taking night time.
